Is it ever a good thing or the right thing to get revenge on someone that has wronged you?

It would feel OOOOOO so good, but no, I believe in Karma - they'll get theirs! pitchfork

No, it only degrades you. Self defense is one thing, but vengeance is another.

As much as the act of revenge might make someone feel better, overall, just moving on is what will ultimately make you feel better.

The best revenge is to don't let them see how upset you are and just move on.

Although sometimes I've been tempted, I can now let it go since understanding the concept that revenge is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

It is tempting at times, but then you need to realize that doing so will not change how they wronged you and you need to see that you are better than that.

All it will do is cause chaos and you still may not feel good in the end.Dont bring yourself down to their level of thinking or acting.

Not to mention, you have to live with it.They probably dont even care because if they did, they wouldnt have wronged you in the first place.

Theyll get theirs in the end, it is all about karma.Let THEM live with the wrong they have done to others.

Forget 'em and move on knowing they are not worth the beans in your pocket.

Ever notice how when you are apathetic to someone's nonchalance....they seem to get very concerned?

No, its not worth spending anymore time or energy on a person who has done something to hurt me. I just shut them out of my life.

It's a waste of time and energy plotting revenge.

And it usually comes back to bite YOU in the butt!

Depends on the situation, if the "fire" was justifiable, then yes.

This is honest! Perhaps the conotation of the word revenge makes it the wrong one....but a firm believer in justice!

(ie exposing a backstabbing liar to improve and repair a group dynamic)
