What is that that leaves you with a feeling of contentment in your life?

Do you know when you are content?

Are you ever content with what you are,or what you have?

What would make you content?

Do you know when you are content?

Yeh I feel very satisfied and fulfilled.
-------------------------------------------------------

Are you ever content with what you are,or what you have?

Yes and no. As human beings it tends to happen back and forth especially
for women during that time of the month (know what I mean.

I feel content with who I am when facing challenges. To know what I've
learned in past experiences makes me stronger and more confident. For
example, when facing a fear I use everything in my power to know that I
can do it!

----------------------------------------------------------------

What would make you content?

My past accomplishments, success, knowing God's love. Thinking positive

 I live daily to be content, but life will cause some panics in
that order,so I would agree alot with Bored here to why and when feeling
content.
But we should all strive to be better and to learn everyday,
and to really feel content is to first feel YOU, then life, then to
completely feel content always one must work at every facet of living
daily, and to find their BEST peace of heart, mind, body, and
soul!!

There are times when i feel content; spirit runs free. Then i consider
to settle. There is a correlation there. I can not settle for the way i
am, and how my life is. We can be content with our progress, but never
our product.

Contentment for me is when I accept the rhythm of my life as is and flow
with it.

I am pretty well satisfied to simply be, to be just as it is willed, and
for as long as I may remain in occupancy.

I am happily single. Got my own place and a job that I really like. Got
friends that I can go see. Pretty much content. Been through a lot but
everything seems ok right now.

Knowing that I am doing the best that I can do...and accepting that the
measure may differ from day to day...

Being satisfied at the progress of my life...and the direction in my
travels...

With another...not looking for anything further...their presence in my
life leaves nothing else to be desired...

Jess...lol...kinda like "no expectations"?

You are great....such provocative thoughts...

I’m about as content as I can be as a single person.

I would like to get out and participate with other people more over, but
only under certain circumstances. For example, I have a lot of friends
I could go visit if I just want to sit around drinking beer and listen
to their BS which is mostly complaining about life. But that’s not fun.
I am in the process of trying to find intelligent productive friends,
but they aren’t easy to come by.

Finally, I would definitely enjoy life more if I had a partner to share
life with. But this would only be true if we are genuinely compatible
in the things we like to do. It’s highly unlikely that I will find a
woman who is compatible with what I like to do. For one thing, I focus
on home life. I actually enjoy working around the house remodeling,
gardening, and doing productive things around the house. I choose to do
these things over say, ‘going out on the town’. Although, having said
that I would enjoy meeting with friends to play music on occasion, and
even doing things like going sailing together, or for a camping trip on
motorcycles. It’s just that for me, those things are secondary to my
homebody life, not primary. So a woman who is pacing back and forth all
the time waiting for the next time we’re going out like as if that’s the
only thing that’s important in life just isn’t going to enjoy living
with me. I really need a homebody woman.

Moreover, I do strange things. In addition to home improvement and
gardening, I also play several instruments; Guitar, piano, violin,
flute, clarinet, and harmonica. This might see strange because I don’t
consider myself to be a musician and music is most certainly not the
focal point of my life. I think I’m actually drawn to the physics of
the instruments to be honest about it.

I also study physics, mathematics and I’m into building robots. So I
need a really geeky nerdy partner who isn’t anything like most normal
woman. I make instructional DVDs, and I am into cooking too though. I
also sew, make stain glass windows, paint with watercolors and pet my
cat. So I have some normalcy associated with my existence.

In any case this seems to be turning more into a personal ad than a
post. (ha ha)

I’m as content as I can be
living a lonely life
but I’d be claiming ecstasy
if I only had a wife

A woman who isn’t normal
a homely nerdy geek
someone who can live with me
for longer than a week

A woman who fancies robots
and can play a clarinet
a woman who won’t view practicing
as a auditory threat

A woman who will garden
and will bake cherry pie
and when I wash the dishes
she won’t think to ask me why

A woman who’s not religious
but has god within her heart
A women who loves mathematics
because she really is so smart

This is what I dream of
when I ponder on my life
An imaginary woman
who could be my loving wife

Contentment is...

A big box of chocolates
A cool new pair of suspenders
A goat Jello fight with midgets

What is that that leaves you with a feeling of contentment in your life?
Going to bed everynight, Knowing that those around me have smiled and
laughed just for a moment and doing the best that i can each and
everyday.

Do you know when you are content?
Yes,, it overwhelms me at times

Are you ever content with what you are,or what you have?
Yes, and at the possibilities of knowing that I and only I can make me
content,,, in knowing this I strive to do my best to make my innerself
more complete

What would make you content?
Pure Uncondtional Love of a Life Partner

contentment to me is not the same as being happy. happiness comes adn
goes you have ups and downs but contentment is being satisfied with
tyour lot in life on a whole being satisfied with who you are as a
person and with what you've made of yourself if you can look at yourself
in the mirror adn say i like that person then i'd say your pretty well
content

No i'm not there yet i look in the mirror and say who the hell are you
and i'd like me back.LOL

One commercial or jingle about Borden's milk was that it came from
contented cows. Most cows I ever saw driving down the road seem
contented to me.
