I'm planning on going back to college to get my business degree, but the market isn't great for it now so I need a fall back.... suggestions?

sorry...been while since I was in college lol. I meant business administration. Bookkeeping, payroll, all of it. That is what I've been doing for a while but the job market wants degrees.

no I love doing this type of work. but I was looking to have a back up as well. I was thinking about something in home health care or something like because of my sister and others that need help or massage therapy. I'm just looking for something for a 2nd and needing ideas

any healthcare field is booming due to the babyboomers home health care is a good field. lots of home bound patients with lots of insurance money as long as you're not having to wipe 90 year old butts. I think I would draw the line there

Well, I am actually going back to school this year and getting an LPN degree. The market is hurting for nurses of all kinds. I will eventually get an RN degree. I think if you do Business Admin, and you do it with an emphasis in health care, then you really increase your chances for jobs. You going for a BA?

I did an online program and got my Bachelor's in Healthcare Management. I am still an RN working the night shift because they can't equal what I am making on nights/3 shifts a wk. Its hard to give up the 4 days off a wk.

I must agree with many here... healthcare and technology - can't go wrong with either... I am back to school for MSA in Medical Systems Administration -- ... but to get the the OP:'s main question - pursue what you are interested in, not what others think you should! You will be happier and more satisfied in the long run - no matter what the current conditions are!! $.02
