Silence Unbound
Silence unabashed
it is me that it is found
How long will it last

Silence follows me
Wrapping me in its presence
I am what it seeks
as I pray for deliverance

Silence cuts like a knife
and fits like a glove
Silence had trapped me in a dark night
Uncapable of love

Silence tangles in knots
Silence tears the unbreakable
It embraces me in a lock
Silence hushes the unspeakable

Silence has a grip cold as ice
Enveloping me in a blanket
Silence makes me want to hide
trembling, how long can I take it

Silence lingers
Silence follows
When it captures
Silence makes you hollow

I especially liked the part where it cuts like a knife and fits like a glove. Very artistically written.

remember the saying, a child should be seen and not heard, I imagine that's why many of us write......this brought back many memories, I never uttered more than two words when I was a tad pole, then when someone told me it was ok to speak, I went crazy with conversation, now that same person tells me to shut up already...lol

Enjoyed this, silence is golden, but like the aftermath of rain (tears), belongs at the end of a rainbow....
