Another New Year nears,
as we let-go yesterdays smiles and tears.
Longing to begin a brand new start.
Yet still enduring, ingesting,
all that we must lose in part.
Looking forward to making this year better.
Through all that we can do put together.
I hope you let it come to you with hope.
To know living, loving, and dreaming.
Will just come easily with all you have to cope.
May this new moon, coincide and brighten you soon.
So everyday your reassured your going the right way.
Just by the new feelings in your heart to stay.
Happy, calm, cool, and be sure, this is your new future.
FRIENDS make living, a chance inside yourself to feel.
Let each new day allow your-self the chance to heal.
Know that THIS friend loves you, and lets forget the word, blue.
We shall only think and believe in all that we know is TRUE.
So if you ever feel your losing your scope,

Very nice work, I liked your poem! I write myself, but I relocated this year to Ca. from Ga. & had to leave most of my things, 20 yrs. of poems, short stories, & children stories as well. I won twice the poetry.com editors choice award, so you should be able to find my works there.
