They're trying to call what we got here in Lexington the past few days snow, but this isn't really snow. I used to live outside Philly too...and they get SNOW!

When I lived in Tennessee...my ex g/f woke me up one day around 10:30 and said " It snowed last night ".
I looked outside and saw nothing but grass. I said to her " You do realize that, unless it stays around for more than a couple of hours, it doesn't count? " |

I live in Denver, it's 60 degrees now. We have some crazy temperature swings here. 60 or 70 degrees in December, then wait a few days, and it's in the 20s with snow, storm lasts for 1 or 2 days, then it warms back up again.

Third day in a row my car can't make it to the yield sign at the end of the street because of the snow. We have less than two inches. yeah.. slicks sure make lousy snow tires..

We still have a half a foot on the ground and are expecting over a foot more between now and Christmas!!!

So much for the last couple of sunny days...snowing now.

It snowed a bit here yesterday.
I got a couple of pictures that turned out pretty well. It was that nice, lazy, floating snow. No wind blowing it around. When I snapped the pics, I actually managed to catch the flakes coming down.

Ground is snow covered, sky a bit over cast but nothing like the endless gray back in N.Central PA!! I lived there 20 years and never got used to all the gray. Here on the Maine coast it might be freezing out but the sun is shining away! Went to a beach yesterday to take a pic of it covered with snow. Life is good!

There was a light blanket of snow on the ground this morning when we woke up and it's been snowing pretty heavily all day...so far no accumilation though.
