Thats great Mary, congratulations I second that.... Mary, I do believe I neglected to offer my congrats when we chatted earlier.. my attention was obviously focused elsewhere... diddo Mary we need more teachers like you Thanks guys....I have such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment!! What a way to celebrate tho....snowed in my house all alone....oh well, I guess Bernie was with me in spirit tho cuz he was in life my biggest cheerleader, as I am sure he is in heaven too!

It looks like Mary wins the prize.... Omaha was mostly shut down today, with schools closed again tomorrow as well. But with half the snow... We did have one sad thing happen though... a young woman was hit and killed by a snowplow last night. One of my coworkers was acquainted with her. That's horrible, Jan. Her poor family! She was just recently married too, and her husband had to come to identify her. I am appalled at the entire situation...and have never heard of a snowplow hitting a person before... Was it in whiteout conditions as it was here? It was very hard to see anything here but white. No, it never got that bad here... I told you, you win the prize...

As much as they can get under your skin some days, you gotta love em. Yeah, funny thing was, some of them were the ones I was always getting after for being onary....they just need love and gentle guidance....I have NEVER in 24 years not found a child that I could not love....even my Special Ed behavior kids...there are no bad kids out there....just babies that need love!!!

They've been warned before. Of course these were HS kids. Tomorrow I have recess duty with 2nd grade. Guess I better get ready for bed. I have to lay out warm clothes for tomorrow. Have a good snow day tomorrow. Enjoy it. Stay safe. Good night. It may not be the same as all of us being together in person, Mary but you have to know how proud we are of you!! You have accomplished something that most people our ages would not have even attempted. And right now Bernie is in heaven bragging to all his buddies about what his wife just did. I am sure he was your inspiration and strenght to get you through school. I wish I could be there to give you a hug and take you to dinner to celebrate but I want you to know that you have made me believe that nothing is impossible. Good going. Girl!! Good Morning Everyone It's cold and I would have liked to have stayed in bed but I have not come up with a convincing argument for my boss on how I could get the job done from there so I had to get up. All my snow bunny friends please be safe today on the roads as you venture out! Have a good one!

Good morning Talk about snow bunnies.... I've lived in Texas all my life. I don'tknow how anyone can get use to snow and ice. Burrr, Its not even snowing here (right now) but it's cold. lol I don't think I would want to even try to handle it up north..... lol I have a difficult time driving in the rain, let alone snow and ice.
