I'm back, sorry i had to leave for a few.. My neighbor got knocked down by the wind today and hit her head..just wanted to make sure she was ok.. HI Jerry, don't think we've met.. Carole here Wow, hope she will be OK!!! You better be careful too with that knee of yours!! After my hip...I am TERRIFIED of going out on the snow and ice!!!!!!! Mary pass Jerry some of your stew! Good evening everybody Evening Jan How's Omaha holding up? Good, mostly. We only got 8-10 inches. But alot of blowing and drifting snow. I had no trouble getting to work today... How much snow did you end up with in Des Moines? My part of the city got between 15-17 inches. The whole city was shut down today, and schools again tomorrow. They just started to plow tonight because of the winds...pulled the plows off the roads earlier.

It looks like Mary wins the prize.... Omaha was mostly shut down today, with schools closed again tomorrow as well. But with half the snow... We did have one sad thing happen though... a young woman was hit and killed by a snowplow last night. One of my coworkers was acquainted with her.
