It looks like Mary wins the prize.... Omaha was mostly shut down today, with schools closed again tomorrow as well. But with half the snow... We did have one sad thing happen though... a young woman was hit and killed by a snowplow last night. One of my coworkers was acquainted with her. |

Good evening everyone. Hey friend, how ya doing? Work was fine. Just very busy concert season. I am doing just fine because I have not went out in this mess yet. I finished yesterday....now I am graduated!! I went no farther than the end of my driveway yesterday, because I didn't have to....The mailman handed be the mail out of his truck, and was grateful that he didn't have to carry the package to the door.. Today was great...I played chicken with a snowplow, got to work earlier than normal, and was able to give a coworker a ride home...her vehicle had gotten stuck twice on her way in... It gives a person such a feeling of accomplishment to actually reach the intended destination when the challenges are there in your path... |

Was it in whiteout conditions as it was here? It was very hard to see anything here but white. |
