It looks like Mary wins the prize.... Omaha was mostly shut down today, with schools closed again tomorrow as well. But with half the snow... We did have one sad thing happen though... a young woman was hit and killed by a snowplow last night. One of my coworkers was acquainted with her. That's horrible, Jan. Her poor family!

Carol, do you live anywhere near the Redners on 309? Yea, probably less than 2 miles. I'm doing well. Looking forward to the holidays. Lots of plans. I bet you are looking forward to the Holidays with your new honey....I am so happy for you that things are working out...

Good evening everyone. Hey friend, how ya doing? Hi Mary. How r u holding up in all that snow? Work was fine. Just very busy concert season. I am doing just fine because I have not went out in this mess yet. I finished yesterday....now I am graduated!! I went no farther than the end of my driveway yesterday, because I didn't have to....The mailman handed be the mail out of his truck, and was grateful that he didn't have to carry the package to the door.. Today was great...I played chicken with a snowplow, got to work earlier than normal, and was able to give a coworker a ride home...her vehicle had gotten stuck twice on her way in... It gives a person such a feeling of accomplishment to actually reach the intended destination when the challenges are there in your path...

I forgot how tricky it can be making the rounds with 2 families. I used to have my rotation all rigured out and now we have to start all over.

She was just recently married too, and her husband had to come to identify her. I am appalled at the entire situation...and have never heard of a snowplow hitting a person before...

Was it in whiteout conditions as it was here? It was very hard to see anything here but white.
