| Topic: Is prohibiting relationships at work unfair? | |

I think there is a certain wisdom as to why this rule is in place. I knowingly defied this rule, and we got away with it, for about 3 months. Then things started to change. Two months later, after we were found out, she got fired, but not because of that, she was drinking on the job. About a year after that, I was fired from the same job, also, not for that. It was because I wasn't "happy" to be there anymore. During this in between time, our relationship started to fall apart, and this led to me bringing my troubles at home to work. Moral of the story, I will never do it again, and I have learned.

Rules, rules, rules. Where do ya' draw the line? The more rules you allow the more you allow people to rule you.

It’s like a black cat crossing your way. I had hired my wife; she has screwed up everything that was possible and impossible to screw up.

Listen...people make rules cuz' they have no faith in autonomy. I refuse to allow other people to dictate my behavior. F*** rules. Think for yourself!

Don't be sheeple, folks. Can't you trust yourself to make the right decisions. Allowing others to dictate yr behavior is WRONG!

I do think it's unfair. Gotta keep the slaves productive though, right?
While I do understand the reasoning behind not dating a coworker and would try to avoid it, that doesn't mean I'd never do it and would probably take the risk
