You are still imposing your morality on others. I think that is most people's problem, they believe their morals should apply across the board and that is not correct. But yet, your morals say that we should all pay more in taxes to take care of the " poor and downtrodden ". MY morals, however, tell me that I need to make sure I am taken care of first so that I may be better able to help others. You are trying to force your morals on a whole lot of people. How is this any different?? I said Americans should be proud to pay into our American country...lol Nothing moralistic about that. |

I did work for the Department of Human Services in all areas and I saw the help we give people with those programs, it is great to assist our fellow citizens who need it. Integrity is living up to your own standards of the being the best in life you can be. Which, of course, is not the path that the Left wants everyone to take. they would rather hand out things to everyone. That way, they can be " the best " they can without having to actually do anything for it. All they have to do is exist and they are entitled. Excellent idea. I find the integrity lacking in that view. And if the government is just going to give people something they haven't worked for, who could expect the people to develop any integrity? |

Now back to integrity.
I consider integrity to be an important quality. I actually lose respect when I see those who claim to be... say ....religious for example and are hypocritical in how they live their lives. Integrity shows in a person who doesn't talk bad behind people's backs. That shows integrity. Integrity shows in people who try to understand those different from themselves instead of judging them as wrong because of their differences. |

Cuban missile crisis, Russian nuclear threat, first Iraq war, even Veitnam. Financial circus that arose from excessive spending in the 80's and continued spending well into the 90's (slightly alleviated by then President Bill Clinton), buying and selling with oversea countries and companies that started in the early 80's and continues still today. The health issues that arose from numerous threats being allowed into our own food supply that well tapped the health services requiring a complete overhaul with the current adminstration and well should have been overhauled with Bush, poverty at an all-time high due to jobs finding more secure areas to produce their goods (overseas) this started in the early 90's and continues today. Laugh at me all you want, I don't care if this country burns...I hope for it. nor a moral issue. To SAY you wish this country burns...... Is to have many other issues, but not that of integrity. And I feel ashamed of all of us, that we have LET YOU COME TO FEEL, in this belief or way... SEE this whole post contains all that we THINK, is the problems and WHAT NO ONE WANTS TO DO, is TAKE RESPONSIBILITY,,,,for WHY PEOPLE,,,,not an AGE, NOT a GENERATION, Not A male or female, WE AS A NATION,,,,, HAVE FALLEN IN ALL AREAS OF SELF RESPECT, and the RESPECT OUT-GOING for others...This Country's PRIDE in its self. The PRIDE in BEING an AMERICAN....all THIS HAS BEEN LEAVING many minds,,,,,and ITS OUR FAULT!!!!!!!! ALL OF US,,PEOPLE~ Cheers mate, hopefully one day a lot more people will have the outlook that everyone has failed in one way or the other.
