Im a better baker than cooker.Dont really cook much for myself.


Once a week Ill really cook something nice, but otherwise not really.



I really can't bake to save my life. lol

I usually only really cook on the weekends because I work second shift.


I love baking, place smells niice.

Gotta get back into it though, lost it for a byt.

Maint staff here where I live really like my baking.I make some pretty nifty brownies.


I don't really know why I can't bake. I just seem to lose patience.

But yet, I can stand there at the stove stirring risotto....lol

Baked pears smothered in maple syrup, with walnuts, cranberries, dates and gorgonzola cheese...its out of this world.


an interesting mix... You're going to have a list of stuff for me... :laughing: :laughing:

I dont have a recipe I just made it up one day.

add some cinnamon on top of pear bake in oven, cook the dates cranberries and maple syrup and walnuts on stove top in pan till it makes a thick and kinda crust gooey. cool mix in cheese and top hot pear. Serve colde or hot. Something like that.

Jag there are alot of no bake recipes. I use those b/c always in a hurry, somewhat inpatience too.

Oh yeah use that same mix minus the nuts and top a T-bone hot off the grill sounds odd but its freaking killer. I had some leftovers so I tried it. Now its part of the entire meal.

I'll have to look for it Princess.

Here is a cajun dish.

butterfly chops, blackeyed peas, and sour kraut in deep pan just dump it all together. cover all of it with zatarans cajun spice and monteal steak seasoning. slow cook till all juice is gone. Hot and tangy.
