I got dumped two hours before taking her to meet the family......

THAT was memorable!

Does that count as a gift?........cause I am sure, in retrospect, it was a good thing.

What is the most memorable gift you have received for christmas?

I had several:

A 2 Gig DDR II memory chip for my computer. And a PDA. And a book that teaches you how to improve your memory. A ticket to the broadway hit "Memory Lane", and a single record called "Memory", sung by B. Streisand. "My life as a series of memories," a memoire by Memor, the Morose Memory Mattress.

Hmmmmmmmmmm one year my son bought me a new tv and my daughter got me a surround sound.bigsmile

Then one year a guy I was dating bought me enough privacy fence to go all the way down one side of my yard in the back and down the driveway in the front.

Then the x-mas we had just broke up prior too he actually bought me a big nice leather recliner which I still have. Hummm at least they were gifts I have had for a long timelaugh laugh

 It can't be wrapped, it can't be seen,

It was THAT FEELING,,,when all my children were opening their gifts, their excitment gleaming in their eyes, that deep inside feeling,,,,they were as happy as you,,and we were all,,,,
at that moment,,,,so fully sharing all that spirit of Christmas together and they would always as well as me,,,remember everything we shared that cold winter day.....GOD IS SO GREAT!

Unity of family,,,,,,,,,within his love,,,

Spending Christmas in a camper with my hubby and son. It sounds odd but we had traveled to see family and it was really happy and cozy.

Sadly the most memorable one was the year my husband died just before Christmas. Late in the evening I realized that it wasn't just a bad dream and actually happened. I doubt I will ever really forget that feeling.

When I was 12 years old, my parents gave me a first edition of "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, which I still have. After reading it, I told them that I wanted to be a writer. For nearly 40 years I have made my living writing. So, it was by far the most memorable gift I was ever given. happy

A "Pay-As-You-Go" phone.

My folks thought it would help me stay in touch.

I used all my minutes on it selling acid to my neighbors.
