Back to the real issue at hand.Alot of times people come here to make money, lets face it money makes the World go round.Thats what this is all about isn't it?They don't have the thousands of dollars it takes to become "legal".I figure what ever you have to do to improve yourself and your family should not be judged by Greed....

We already have the highest legal rate of immigration in the world.

If we allowed anyone in who wanted to come we would have the largest over population problem in the world.
Until, our budget and natural resources couldn't support it any longer. Then, broke and void of all natural resources we would be a third world charity case..

yanno what happens if you sneak into Mexico without documentation?

Its a felony and you get a few years in Mexican prison

and compared to Mexican prisons, our prisons are a all inclusive resort

My husband was european and denied. I detest the unequal application of the immigration laws for ANYONE of any color or creed.

that happened to me in Canada. They wouldnt let me in. I asked the guy if I claimed to be Mexican could I get in

he didn't find it amusing

LOL,, my husband asked the customs agents the same thing at the London airport. They gave me quite a hard time for traveling there so often,,seemed to believe I might be trying to 'sneak' in..lol

Now, if your husband had a criminal record or health issue, that wold disallow him from entering. I doubt they wouldn't allow him just because of his color or creed.

Former Presidential Candidate Pat Buchanan Agrees with Immigration Suspension

Pat Buchanan

In a blog published on his website, former presidential candidate and MSNBC contributor Pat Buchanan commented on the fact that immigration was not even considered at last week's Job Summit hosted by the White House. Buchanan said an immigration suspension would have "the most immediate and dramatic impact."

Buchanan used numbers advanced by our recent ad stating that the federal government imports 1.5 million foreign workers while the unemployment rate stands at 10%. He says that these foreign workers likely took many of the 650,000 jobs claimed to be created by the economic stimulus and the Obama Administration.

Buchanan also referenced the 8 million illegal aliens working in the U.S. workforce and tied in a USA Today article stating that "when U.S. authorities raid a plant site where hundreds of illegals are working, and send them packing, hundreds of Americans show up and apply for the jobs.

If they would only enforce the Laws.

Most of that is part of the 2007 immigration reform bill. The one Obama will most likely use as a base to the new one coming in May.

You just might consider listening to experience.

AMNESTY DON'T WORK TO END THE ILLEGAL PROBLEM.

It only creates a demand for more Illegals.
It also tells future Illegals if they hold out long enough, they will come up for amnesty.

Simple, easy and not a lot of need to provide transportation back to their country, unless they are from overseas.

you misread my post, I didnt say he was denied due to race. I was responding to the statement that opposition to illegal immigration is based in racism. That my husband should have to go through the system to get here was fine with me,after all most communities insist on knowing if criminals live in their community and most americans dont support paying tax dollars to the poor and the only way to know any of that is by checking people out before they enter. What bothers me is the fact that EVERYONE doesnt have to go through the process and that people actually believe everyone shouldnt.

Think about it.
This is just an observation.
In one breath, you want Beck hangin' high for pushing his gold deal, which is a victimless crime. If indeed it is a crime.

In your next breath, you applaud Obummer for wanting to reward up to 20 million Illegals who have been committing crimes, including Federal Felonies, against American and Legal Workers. Many victims.

Who now, is this " walking contradiction" you speak of??slaphead
