It works best for those setting the wages and prices, not for those working to earn them. You right! And when American workers learn to lower their expectations, they will get the work. A few months back, I wrote a letter to Hussein. I suggested, because of the high competition for the few jobs there are, that he abolish Minimum wage and allow people to bid how much they would be willing to work a job. Sounds reasonable. The lowest bid, matching the highest qualifications, should be awarded the job. Everybody wins. So not only do you reject an affordable Health-Care bill for all, but you want to keep the poor so poor they can't even afford the minimal Dr and dental care for their families. Even if they put rent off for a month and eat beans everyday for a year. And then you want to eliminate even the most basic services at the county health department.

It always just seem so to get me so mad that racism still exists in America.This great country was made by immigrants and I sometimes wonder why so many people have forgotten this.I've said this before,and I'll say it again,PEOPLE JUST WANT TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM.For one second think about others,instead of yourself,if more people would do this the World would be a better place..... LEGAL IMMIGRANTS! Also the illegal immigration debate doesn't have anything to do with racism. |

Mexican is a nationality not a race Spanish is a subset of the Caucasian race. Just like Norwegian or Italian so I don't get the racism part |

This is a very insecure thread.If you got out there and did what you had to do,instead of being some overeducated @ WHOLE.Illeagal immigrants would be no concern of yours...
And just for $h!ts and giggles what is the primary race of people posting in this thread? |

That's exactly what that $1,500.00 a month the Gov wants to hand out to the disabled. They'll be able to pay rent and utilities but forget eating. They can just go to the food bank, I guess. 
Your affordable Healthcare is a joke. I saw on CNN, the price to buy in for 62 to 72 year olds comes to about $650.00 a month.  The figures for 55 to 61 aren't available.
That's affordable alright but, only if your last name starts with a Kennedy.

So add on to your plan that the disabled are better off with nothing. That's building into one heck of a plan! |

Back to the real issue at hand.Alot of times people come here to make money,lets face it money makes the World go round.Thats what this is all about isn't it?They don't have the thousands of dollars it takes to become "legal".I figure what ever you have to do to improve yourself and your family should not be judged by Greed....

It's not a matter of greed. Its a matter of controlling the immigration system. It's a matter of several hundred million dollars a month flowing to Mexico untaxed. Its a matter of wages being artificially dragged down by undocumented labor |
