I myself am bigger young lady. I dont have a problem with not being a size 0 I´m also far from it hahaha.
I feel like all you ever see now a days in the media is exstreamly skinny women. Dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with being skinny! I often hear guys saying "I love a girl with a bit of meat on her" but my question is when is "a bit of meat" to much. (im just using this as an example and I dont mean this in a mean way) If your a bigger girl you probably shouldnt be wearing exstreamly tight clothing and If your 80 pounds you proabably shouldnt be wearing the shortest shirt you could find where you can see every single rib. I think every women or girl is beautiful no madder what shape or size she is but I also think its what she makes out of her featurs and how she prasents herself. I wanna hear some thoughts on this topic and I just notist that I put this in the wrong duiscusion bord thing hahha. |

Why are "bigger girls" always asking what people think of "bigger girls"?

Why are "bigger girls" always asking what people think of "bigger girls"? Self esteem and double standards I imagine. Society currently promotes an idea that there is no such thing as too skinny but on the flip side , there is very prevalent negative press towards women if they dont fit in the slim or skinny category. |

Why are "bigger girls" always asking what people think of "bigger girls"? I was thinking of asking that myself..as a not bigger girl I didn't want to come off as a b!tch...really this question does get gone over and over and over. I always say if you are comfortable with your self, are healthy.. who cares??? It comes down to the same thing every time.. personal preference and "am I happy with who I am" F..the rest of them! |

I think there is such a thing as too skinny..skinny does not always mean healthy. Look at some so called famous people, they look like crap, like they are a heart attack waiting to happen. |

You are wise - well, at least you said what I wanted to say

(I often hear guys saying "I love a girl with a bit of meat on her" but my question is when is "a bit of meat" to much.)
Really what Im asking is what is to much in your eyes. Everyone has a different opinion. |

That's just it - everyone has a different opinion and really the only thing that matters is if you are happy and healthy. If you meet the right guy, he won't give two sh!ts about your size.

there is a such thing as too skinny and a such thing as too big
people are attracted to whatever they are attracted to and the person who complains that people arent attracted to them should make themselves more attractive (maybe by gaining or losing weight) instead of criticizing people for whatever they are or are not attracted to |

there is a such thing as too skinny and a such thing as too big people are attracted to whatever they are attracted to and the person who complains that people arent attracted to them should make themselves more attractive (maybe by gaining or losing weight) instead of criticizing people for whatever they are or are not attracted to exactly..and as a man you can get away with saying that. I have said such things and a bigger gal got pissed because I am not "a bigger gal" and don't understand. Well, there was a time I was for a minute ... 10 years ago I really took a look and realized I had just let myself go, divorce, turning 40, depression. I made a decision that is not who I am and I changed it.... I had to work hard to get rid of 50 pounds. If I can do it in my 40's I think a younger girl can do it..if you want it bad enough. If you are happy now then don't worry. I was not happy with who I was...I never asked myself..Why is he not attracted to me" I looked in the mirror and I knew why. |

I used to do a lot of DJ work in bars and such and I have seen a whole lot of " bigger " women that would have been attractive...except for the yards of skin they chose to show by their choice of clothing. I'm sorry, but a chick that weighs upwards of 200 pounds..at 5' 2"...should NOT be walking around with the top of her g string panties sticking out of the top of her low rise jeans. Then again, I have seen the whale tail on some of those really thin ( the kind that looks like a stiff breeze would knock them over ) women and they always look like they are in the process of being sawn in half by the string. |
