Just got a leather coat in a consignment shop today for $40

I buy most of my tops there. But as far as jeans, I have to buy those new. I never know what size. Brands vary in sizes. I can wear anywhere from a 6,7 to an 8. A 9 is too big in all cases. 8's too big in most, 7's and 6's perfect, but then again, does matter the brand cuz some are too big.

Goodwill,S.Army,Flea Market and Yard sales are my favorite places.I look for everyone in my family and my friends.Sometimes you can find items that still have the price tag on it. I take clothers
to the homeless shelter all the time.

Oh man! I dig thrift shop. No telling what you will find. I go with a good friend who gets all her cheeky party wear at those shops. Occasionally I might find a cool fedora or jacket (not that I need one much down here. The guys selection is kind of limited but when my friend bebops out with some classic platform gogo boots $5 and a fire patterned polyesther jumpsuit for$1.50 (bell bottoms/ huge lapels and covered with the "hot stuff" devil.....you know....the one in the diaper. She is thrilled and she makes that stuff WORK when we hit the clubs.


I feel like I should point out a secret to the people who are hesitant about preowned clothes......throw em in a washer.

i know washers work...it's only my personal thing, but does not spill over into judgment at all...
let's not forget, however...that if i find something about myself that needs be addressed....i do just that....i try fix it.

i keep gettin kicked outta the store when askin for womans used panties, the thanks i get for tryin to be frugal .!!!

Well, thats probably because I was just in there the day before asking and when the lady showed me where they were at,
I asked her how many pairs I could take to their changing room,
and she said they didn't have a changing room,,,,well,,,,,the rest was in the newspaper......NUDE MAN ARRESTED IN DOWN TOWN THRIFT STORE.... I'm sorry Sea,,,,,,

I do a lot of yard sale shopping but most of the clothes I buy, some really nice work clothes, I take to the Women's Abuse program thrift shop for resale. That and prom dresses for Cinderella's closet so that girls who's families can not afford dresses can pick out and outfit.

When the Princess was in the nurseing home I used to take patients clothes but when it became obvious they were stealling the clothes I quit.

I won't take clothes to Good Will too often I have seen them shred and sell good clothes to sell for rags.

Thrift stores and yard sales are amazing especially when I have a child who outgrows his clothes almost every season!

Yep.. that would be me. I often find some neat things in those places. People would ask me where I got my cute outfit and my sons would look at me in horror like.. Gawd mom, don't tell them you got it from a thrift store puleeeeeeeese lol
