I can understand your reason if you aren't looking for anyone, but other who are actively searching or wanting a relationship, it hurts your chances, because if you view someone's profile , he or she will never know that you showed some interest. I usually reply or nudge those who view my profile. |

Example: I have an artifical leg, I may think someone looks nice, and decide to look further, just to find out her life revolves around hiking, dancing, long walks, and riding her bicycle. lol |

I go on stealth mode because I don't want members to know I viewed them. Now, if I am interested in a guy, I will go off stealth mode and view their page. That way, they know I was interested to view their page. But I like stealth mode. Sometimes I don't want to be bothered when I am online.

I blame it all on my poor memory... Can't remember profiles so I go back and re-read em

I have asked the same question.
Now, I have looked at someones profile and gone stealth to go back to maybe re-read something I liked with out making that person feel stalked but I like people to be able to see when Im online or when I last logged in too. |
