seriously tho, how do i get this removed

You don't.

Really, if you join on most publicly accessed web sites like this, or POF, other dating sites, that info is public.
Many people do not post a pic. of themselves, and are quite cautious in what they post.
Other people figure that I am not all that important in the global world and post whatever they want.

Sometimes, it pays to 'google' a name before you use it as a username, to see who/what else is using it, and how easily it can be traced to you.

Daniel.

You CAN'T remove it. Once you are registered on ANY site with a profile name, it becomes publicly available on Google.
The only way I can think of is to remove yourself from every site you're on.
I'm not sure if that would work either.

Maybe after a period of inactivity, you're details will be deleted, but don't take this as verbatim.

Robkent,I have found the only way to tell if it is a scammer is,
1-They won't your email or another way to contact you!
Stay on site..
2-They claim they love you from the start!
Thats bull, they are very forcefull in that manner.
3- Unconsistant emails.Pluss some will send messages that have nothing to do with you.
If you have any dought they are real,Report/Block these people...............

strange how some people are a constant magnet for scammers and some people (like me) never ever hear from em

I wonder what is the difference?

when ever I get a scammer type contact me I tell em how great it is cause its always been my dream to move to Africa and marry a princess and help out on the goat farm and how soon can they get me airfare to Mombasa

they never reply

I have discovered a solution.

Based on my observations, I've noticed a pattern in fraudulent Mingle2 Account Profiles. Typically, most genuine Users put fourth the effort into modifying the Physical Appearance and Lifestyle section of their Mingle2 Account Profile. As opposed to the Pseudo-Mingle2 Account Profiles which almost always remained at the default. I will illustrate the example below.

Physical Appearance
Height
5' 8"

Hair color

Body type
Slender

Ethnicity
White / Caucasian

Lifestyle
Marital Status

Have Children?

Smokes?

Religion

Want Children?

Drinks?

They also tend to have a second imitation Mingle2 Account Profile with the same exact Default Image used with the exception of a different User Name.

I agree! drinker

I have never, ever been approached by a scammer.

Maybe my headline of, "Try to toss your cry baby game at me and I will cut your throat" helps!

The information stated on scammers here is very true... It is sometimes a challenge to sort them out as they are getting more clever. A person can be very careful and still run into one...just be alert and do not ever send them money.

It is hard to allow yourself to be open to new relationships and totally protect yourself at the same time...at some point, you have to risk some, just remain alert.

I wish you well in your search!

The scammers up their game as the sites catch on. They are every where, but this site is good about getting rid of them as soon as we are aware of them

Scammers want to take members to yahoo because they know that Mingle and other sites have no power in Yahoo. So if someone wants to go to another IM right off the bat...that is a good indicator. Make sure you get to know someone here first until you have a good feel for them. If they get upset because you won't go to IM....then there may be a reason

Men are doing it too...I have had many men on all websites try to scam me....but the warning signs are always the same...they move too fast...the love me within days...and they either want me to send them money or they want me to spend money to come to them.

Recently, I had a man want to meet me face to face...he was reasonable local (100 miles round trip) to me, so after a while I agreed to meet him....I drive to his town and he just does not show at the meeting place. Then he will not even offer an explanation. He was not a scammer...just a jerk. Men can be just a cruel as some women.....scammers or not!

For me, I am tired of the games online...but I do wish you well in your search.
