Small time thoughts becoming big plans immortalized forever.
Yester youth squandered not coming back, NEVER! If you rock a gold front at the age of 35 with pride. What kind of logic didn’t reach your hide? I grew up when the school bus driver could whoop that bad a$$. Making sure that you had ya butt on time and in class. Wasn't a number to call if your parents got wit' cha. The old days what I'm reminiscing on, ya'll getting the picture? Adventures riding on the slow moving trains. Kicking water puddles on ankles of all the jerks & lames. Play strikeout against the school wall on weekends with ya friends. Picking plumbs, eat to many and get Montezuma's revenge What a shame that to remember some need a time machine. My imagination's so active & kept white glove clean. When I dream the heat released is so fantastic. Last little thoughts before sleep grow in size to Jurassic. I'm actually classically trained at nothing imparticular. Yet naturally the words I connect seem to mix masterfully like a blender. What splendor awaits this hopelessly devoted saint. Carrie might not have burned down the whole school if the pig blood was red paint. Creature Features with Bob Wilkins aka Capt. Cosmic, Charlie & Humphrey ,Pat McCormick son don't get me started. Miss Ann on Romper Room never saw me in her mirror. Still grew up a Mr. Do Bee cashing chips for mucho lira. Dodging punches from the bullies trying to take my lunches. It all stopped 4th grade when I saw Bruce throw 1 inch punches. Punks just feed on the fear of their reputation. The remedy for this ailment requires unlimited patience. I didn't have a Green Machine did my dirt on a Big Wheel. Learned to keep my mouth shut & not have people think I would squeal. Watch the fads change from loose to tight over night. Figured out how to kiss right under the harvest moonlight. Left the crib way to early but it worked out for the best. Next to some other peoples journeys I know I'm truly Blessed. Keep in touch with those who made me into the man I am today. The loves I've had and haters too make up my intricate genetic array. No hocus-pocus, treachery, evil Brady tiki, or bad luck Schleprock. Remember Connect the Dots, Morris the finicky cat and Joey I got the Motts. Pixie & Dixie getting over on Jinx the cat. Squiddly Diddly, Soul Train, Grape Ape & Yo MTV Raps. Oh how I miss the way anything would make me laugh. Also the old Oakland Raiders & getting Lester Hayes autograph! How easy it used to be way back when. I was young & innocent and not old & overwhelmed by sin. |

Awwww the memories of yesterday.I remember when we actually used a push mower the old one that looked like a barrel no electric or gas to mow out the baseball diamond at the empty lot next door. Then granny gave us old pillows to make our bases with. Running from base to base with my little chihuahua nipping at our pants leg...... ohhh those were the days.....
Now the kids are decked out in full uniform with all the expensive equipment they have no clue what real fun is................. Once again my friend thanks for the memories awesome write |
