I am not one to share terribly personal things on here...this one has me stumped, and just curious to hear what some of you think. I had to leave town last weekend, not go to far, about 6 hours way. So I'm thinking there is a friend on here who lives there, and I'll call and see if we can meet up...casual meeting no big mushy thing. We have been friendly, no hot emails, long conversations, nothing like that. So we talk and arrange to meet up when I get to town..got there right at the time I thought I would. I call both his numbers, and leave messages and a cell number to call back.... A few hours later I need to head home and never heard from him, still haven't heard what happened...why he never called, if something happened. I have only ever met one from here and we are friends. I thought it would be kinda cool to actually meet mingle people like so many have done. Ya know, new friends if nothing else... Not understanding what happened or why...weird I think. |

Have to agree with Mirror. Don't know the circumstances...but it sounds like he wasn't being honest with you...especially the no call back since then. I am so sorry.

im suprised you still get suprised at peoples uncontrolable tendancy to let others down.
he got so nervous, he passed out for a day, then was too embaressed to contact you if you left messages, and its been a few days. then he has no excuse except being dead. even then, i wouldnt forgive him |

It could have been anything. He could have been lying about some aspect of his appearence,or his life. Maybe he is married. Maybe he just chickened out Who knows

 I'd meet with any number of people I've talked with in the forums...some good people. Also, of course, some idiots. Kinda like life!

He was probably nervous and got cold feet...the guy perhaps doesn't want to ruin what he currently has with you..albeit very little from a normal perspective, but to him, probably a lot..maybe he's nothing as he describes in looks/personality....from other peoples postings, 4/5 meetups, women say guys look like fat bastard from austin powers..or even worse..
