I had a date with someone from another dating site, we went to coffee and had great conversation. I got home and i talked to him later that evening on the computer and he wanted me to send him naked pictures....HELLO!! did you not hear me say i would like to get to know you more.....I quit talking to him and put him on block!!

LOL! At least you met him. I had one guy who I talked with, then eventually traded phone numbers with. He told me he'd had a psychic vison of our future together, and wanted to make a bet over it. I told him no thanks, and didn't speak to him again. |

I am not one to share terribly personal things on here...this one has me stumped, and just curious to hear what some of you think. I had to leave town last weekend, not go to far, about 6 hours way. So I'm thinking there is a friend on here who lives there, and I'll call and see if we can meet up...casual meeting no big mushy thing. We have been friendly, no hot emails, long conversations, nothing like that. So we talk and arrange to meet up when I get to town..got there right at the time I thought I would. I call both his numbers, and leave messages and a cell number to call back.... A few hours later I need to head home and never heard from him, still haven't heard what happened...why he never called, if something happened. I have only ever met one from here and we are friends. I thought it would be kinda cool to actually meet mingle people like so many have done. Ya know, new friends if nothing else... Not understanding what happened or why...weird I think.

ok...I thought the idea was to meet people..make new friends, get boinked now and then..maybe even find the guy I wanna be with.. hummmmm silly me!  I would have at least tried to boink you.  Seriously, I am sorry that happened. Frustrating, isn't it? Really leaves you with a feeling of dis-belief. If it helps, I have had a similar experience. I'll tell you about it, sometime. |

  . I'm sorry that it happened 2 u.  . I h8 liars. Funny how they convince ppl their all willin 2 do this and that. Still......more 4 the next guy! I hope the guy who stood u up never finds true luv. He obviously a waste of space, oh and Myspace, too.

who can really know without talking to him specifically -- but I have found people in my past that are such people pleasers - they agree to things that they do not want to do... then later the feel bad about it, hold it against you - or do not keep their promises...
like someone posted here before me - looks like you met the real him!! Your a beautiful woman, it will happen for you one day!

I am sorry this happened to you. I have had this happen in the past a couple of times. Usually it is because they don't look like what they portray themselves to be.
I now try something like this hey got a webcam lets see what each other looks like today so I will be sure to spot you in the crowd. I do have to agree with you it is more perplexing when it happens with a so called friend. I mean there isn't this hot romance interest why not follow through..... I have a long time Internet pal a woman that is coming up for some trip taiking an extra day just so we can finally meet. Now I am kind of nervous is she going to cancel |

This sounds familiar. yeah it does because the last time I agreed to a meeting he was a no show also....that was back in August. I think I have some repellant, some strange vortex around me that scares men off... c'mon guys, I'm usually joking on here, I'm actually a sweetheart.

Frankly, I'm surprised at your disappointment! (you should be relieved!) But next time, when arranging a meeting, ask HIM to pick you up -- rather than you driving around in vain. That'll give you the opportunity of looking the guy over before deciding whether you're up to getting to know him... I bet, your "no show" guy employed the same technique. But when he actually saw you, his inferiority instinct probably kicked in -- and he decided he's not worthy of such a marvelous chick! |

My oldest son told me the guy is just intimidated by me because I'm so beautiful...what a great kid  Not so much disappointment as perplexed...it wasn't a date sort of meeting, just a ..."I'll be in your town , wanna have a cup of coffee" type of thing. I drove to another state for other reasons. Was just the state the guy was in...I didn't make the trip to meet him, wasn't set up at all like that. Anyway...appreciate all the input. NEXT.... |

Some guys are just cowardly and stupid, even if it's just a friendship thing. I do agree with those who suggested he's married or something. Maybe his wife found out he was going to meet another woman and stopped him. Either way, you're a great person, and you can't take it personally, it's not you, it's them.
