Crashing down on me, this light from above
Darkness I seek, its shelter I love

Not to see, not to feel
protecting me from what is real

Wherever I go, wherever I turn
I can feel the heavy burn

Evil doesn't live here, evil here no more
the darkness that's inside of my mind to explore

Ashamed not of where my mind will go
but of the love thats trapped in overflow

Does someone deserve it, anyone at all
to drag someone down to this darkness I call

Selfish I'm not, so lonely I stand
Walking alone in the dark hand in hand
