no

for m yfriends and my family though i would willingly die or if need be kill to protect them

a person can say anything they want to my person within earshot of me

they can say it to my face or to my back for that matter

they can break my mind, my heart , my spirit, my will and my body and i would suffer through that horrbile torutre in a entirely willing manner if i knew that my doing so at the time would keep my friendas and my family safe from harm

however

if that person does naything to hurt my friends and my family

i will hunt that person down to the ends of the arth and that person will know the full fury of hell itself when i go all carnival freak crazy o ntheir *** and kill them

i have grown up living my entire life around canines

ieven knew one of them as being their for me as a friend and a overly protective younger brother to my eprson in the time i knew that canine

he was a half and half mixed grey wolf alaskan malamute wolamute male by the name of bandit

he taught me quite a bit i nthe way of friendship loyalty respect and above all else LOYALTY

loyalty to ones friends
loyalty to ones family
loyalty to ones elders
loyalty to ones pack
loyalty to ones community

for me loyalty is a trait that i posess to my person to the extreme

Of course this is extremely hypothetical....

If the torture and horrible death of you, would create

universal peace, would you be willing to walk away from

your life, your partner, your children not knowing what was

to happen to you....only that the end result would be a peaceful

universe once you had taken your last breath?

I'd like to think I could and would be so selfless. I have seen people die for much less...to try and save another's life. Acts of incredible heroism arise from ordinary people who under challenging circumstances simply act...not planned...but a primal response. It happens every day...happy

Since I have done the things I wanted to do with my life if giving it could prevent so much suffering I would do it.

Tortured as a child I think there is little that someone could do to me that I couldn't endure again. As weak as my heart is I doubt it would take much to kill me anyway so if someone was thinking they would get much fun out of it they are going to be dissappointed.

Since I don't fear death, see it as and escape to something much better, once my mortal life has taken it's course I would go to that.

This isn't about loyalty..it's about making the world a better place...
So for you from what you stated..you care about those whom you love, no one else.

I don't want to offend anyone or turn this into a religious thread...some do believe Jesus died for the world..it never gave us peace. Some ways we have had more wars in his name or Gods name..I'm sure he had hoped for better behavior from us.

I could never hurt a fly...I take spiders and put them outside...whoa

you're nicer than i am. i flush them. i figure they'll find a new home somewhere else.

as for the question, i'd have to have it in writing that my torture and death would have meaning. and there had better be a boatload of virgins waiting for me on the other side.

So universal peace would not be reward enough, you would want a few virgins?
Probably a better shot at finding virgins in the afterlife than this one....
right?

Not turning this into a religious thread. And you are right!! If Jesus couldn't do it, (and he DID DWELL ON EARTH and caused miracles, those are facts), what makes any one mere mortal think they could?? Ergo, this question you pose is basically bull and the scenario offered simply can't happen.

IF the scenario would play out exactly as you have stated and we defined "universal peace" to my satisfaction, then yes.

But, I think Jesus tried this once and it didn't really work out.

It is hypothetical, why is a hypothetical question bull....why are you so angry. I would give my life to change the world. I am curious as to how many others would..of course this scenario isn't going to happen..that is a given! What is ergo, do you mean ego? I don't even have one of those anymore..just traces, so that isn't what it's about...chill out sista.

That would honestly be such a difficult decision...... If I had kids.... i'd be torn between wanting to protect and care for them myself... but if I could make the world a safe place for them... i wouldn't HAVE to protect them....

It's a very hard decision.

But, I would more than likely make the sacrifice...

The troops all sign up for it. And they only have hopes of saving small parts of the world, so I believe there are a lot of people who would be willing to. Anyone who wouldn't, kinda cowardly and selfish.
