I think everyone here knows I have an immense amount of respect for dogs, hell, I love dogs more than people...I just got done smoking a cigarette outside and listening to the worst thing in the world for me, you could hear the dog barking...then the coyotes, frantic barking, ferocious howling...then nothing. Someone just lost the most loyal friend they will ever have in their life...you humans cease to live up to what I see most of you as...

The kicker is we live right next to a large field that has a creek running through it, this is the second dog I've heard get caught by the coyotes out here... |

Maybe the dogs could let the people out and leave them there...and then theyd know how it feels.
That is sad. My dog is my best friend. she is treated better than most Queens...LOL I guard her with my life and she does the same for me |

This is so sad. Our dog is a member of our family. i would be heartbroken if something happened to him!

the thing is though, ya can't really get pissed about the coyotes doing it, it's their nature and hunting is one of their only means of eating (besides scavenging). Fak it!daggs?-no better than a carrot?dont worry about it!

jesus where are you from? the english language was just murdered before your eyes folks. Yes, as sad as it is, we have witnessed the great circle of life. Predators prey, we may not like what is on their "menu," but they have to eat, something. I had a girlfriend that didn't like to watch the nature shows on Animal Planet, because she couldn't stand the violence of predator kills. It's nature, and it's not all rainbows and bunny wabbits. |

Well, this was not the first thing I wanted to see in the morning. Fear, don't lump all us humans together....this is heart-breaking. To lose a pet is one thing, but to lose one so tragically...well...yeah...

I don't dislike animals- got bad allergies. That being said I never grew up with pets.
It's unfortunate and sad that people can't care enough about "a member of the family" enough to keep them safe. Or teach them to be quiet. I was always of the opinion that an animal is only as good as it's owner. |

I make sure no one is behind me when I see an animal and I will slam my brakes to avoid hitting an animal if I can (doesn't matter possum, squirrel, fox, etc.)Maybe the dog got out and the owner couldn't find it. It does happens sometimes you know. I love my dog Reese that had 12 puppies 4 wks ago. I love being covered in playful lovable puppies and sooo cute (Chocolate Labs). |
