if a woman is dancing with a gay guy...would it keep the straight guys away....

I can't imagine why it should, they know you can't very well date the gay guy. Well, you could (I did, poor me) but it won't last very long!

IMO I don't think so. it's kind of a way they can see you without competition from another guy. at least that is what I think....could be wrong

Typically speaking they're better dancers than the straight boys...which makes me look like a better dancer...which then in turn makes the straight boys want to dance with me. *phew* I do love my gay boyfriends. hahahah |

another thought could be....the other guys might have misconceptions of your friend and think they will get hit on by your friend or something. or just doesn't want to be around your friend???

Guess it all depends if it is just you and your friend or if there or several others. For most likely they would believe you were with them if it was only the two of you.

my favorite club is...about 95% for gay men.
i can go dance and dance...and they get waaaay freakier there than at other places. when i was married, my husband would go out with his guy friends, and i'd go there. he knew i was having fun, and wasn't worried that i'd pick anyone up, lol. the dancing is freer...it's a completely different feeling. |

Well, if the other fellows don't know the guy is gay, they may assume that you are taken. That assumption may indeed keep them away. I know if I saw a guy dancing with a girl, I probably wouldn't go up to him, to my mind, it would be obvious that he is already occupied.
Edit: Oh, sorry, I didn't read the replies. No, I don't think just the knowledge that you once (or even regularly) danced with a gay guy would keep other guys away. Why should it? |
