Stepping from the shadows, a tall figure in dark clothing moves toward the two seated by the fire.

" Things are only as quiet as you allow them to be. I have been watching and listening to the two of you for a while now. You should try to be more aware of your surroundings. "

"Your the first I've seen in quite some time, actually." She too, looked about, trying to sense any movement. "I've been looking for a friend, or companion." She nudged her sturdy, scarred boot at the fire.

Turning to the person separating from the shadow a little startled she speaks, "It would seem you are correct. I suppose I am a little rusty. Please, join us. I don't bite......often. I don't think Cassi does either." As she speaks, her smile begins to return.

The mans movements drawing her attention, she looks to him. "I suppose if I were the nervous type, I may have noticed you. You've given me no reason to fear you, Sir." She smiled warmly. "Will you join us? We're just getting acquainted."

" I think, for the time being, I will remain in the shadows. I am most comfortable there.

Besides, if I was so easily able to come upon you without you knowing it, what's to say there may not be more out there willing to do you harm? "

As he slowly retreats into the shadows, he glances over his shoulder and says

" Although you may feel no need to fear me, it would be wise to do so anyway since you are not familiar with me. "

With that, he makes his way back into the darkness.

"I see your point, and it is appreciated, but while my ears may be a little rusty as to what to listen for, please do not underestimate me when it comes to defending myself. You have a place at the fire when you desire it, Sir." she smiles warmly at him.

Her gaze stayed upon the man as he retreated their little circle. "I suppose I just try to see the good in people. You'd think it'd be different, with my constant travels." Her attention then returned to her new friend.

She lurks in the shadows of the trees, listening and looking, wondering if to approach. Then sensing that there was no immanent danger from either of the three she stepped out of the shadows and approached the group.

Greetings fellow travellers, could I join your company. I am Kelandra Night Elf protector of the trees of the forest.

Turning to the lastest newcomer she stands again, "Well met Kelandra, please join us. The fire is warm and the company seems good. I'm Mishrona, "she then motions toward Cassi" and this is Cassi." As Kelandra sits, so does she.

"Ah, more company!" Cassi grinned towards the new comer. "Please! Join us, Kelandra. I am Cassi. We're just getting to know each other."

::In the far off distance, you could hear the loud thumping of a stampede of horses, with a few distinct 'H'ya's' being yelled out in between. It sounded like a small group of riders; but it wouldn't take long before the seven of them came into view. Almost instantly the group was in plain sight of them; as it had been that campfire that gave them away.::

::The riders all came to a stop near them; each looked dreadly frightening, decked in full suits of armor. One dismounted as he moved slightly closer. His large, thick sword sheathed across his side as he raised his hand to lift that twisted black helmet. He shaked his head for a moment, permitting that long silver hair to come free from its previous binding he looked amongst them for a moment, but for the moment he said nothing; he just simply peered his eyes over each; one to the next.::

"..you are all new to this Valley, are you not?"

Cassi rose to her feet, turning the face the new comer. "That we are. Am I correct in assuming you're not here to enjoy the warmth of our fire and the joy of our company?" Her eyes went cold, though her smile remained intact.

At the sound of the horses, Mishrona is immediately on her feet with her hand on her sword, but not with it drawn. She is ready and has moved out to the space between the men on horseback and her new friends. Once he speaks, she does not relax, only answers his question, ready for battle if need be. "I am, though I cannot answer for my new friends. Who are you?"

"Oh thank you", I will. "haven't had much company lately. It is nice to meet others as one can get lonely being out here all alone."

Not used to someone trying to protect her, her smile turns almost giddy at the exciting twist. She falls back a bit, allowing Mishrona to lead the conversation with the new comers.

"Aye, that would be a reliable assumption, m'lady. Though, I do not wish you ill-will either."

::He bowed his head slightly.::

"We are merely wandering Knights who try to maintain order and peace amongst this Valley. We've not seen travelers in these parts in quite some time. Just be weary at night in the darkness by thy self. The evilest of beings have begun to freely roam these lands without fear and we've not a clue as to why they've grown so unaccustomingly bold."

::He again bowed his head slightly to each respectively before he turned again slipping his helmet back on over his face as he grabbed the reigns of his horse before pausing. His voice sounded slightly different but still remained clear and understandable.::

"..and do not tread through the mountains without a guide; that is my advice to you.."

::As he slipped back upon his horse hesitating for a moment as he looked them over once more. The other riders just stood there, the horses breathing out small patches of smoke from their nostrils.::

"It may be true that out paths may cross, but that doesn't mean I have to like you. State your intentions Ingurrian. Let us make both our intentions clear now so there is no confusion."
