This is a friendly reminder In this forum, we will not allow users to bash other users for either believing or not believing in a specific religion. We know that religion is a topic that many people feel extremely passionate about, both believers and non-believers. However, if you wish to participate in this forum, discussions must remain civil at ALL times. If you wish to have a reasoned discussion about religion, the existence or non-existence of God, etc., you may do so, but users who resort to insults or attacks in either direction as part of these discussions will be banned without notice. Thank you, Kim Site Moderating Team Banned from the whole site or just this particular "chat" room? Banned w/o a hearing? W/o being able to make one's case? What if someone writes something not meant to be specifically insulting yet someone takes a specific offense? What if someone makes a comment that could be insulting but has nothing to do w/ the topic? i.e. "Get a dictionary!" or "You have the grammar skills of a 6th grader, Jethro." or "Reading your posts is painful due to such bad grammar and diction." "Banned w/o notice" seems unfairly dictitorial and heavy handed. But hey, that's just my opinion. You're not offended, I hope..

I'm pretty sure they mean a post that is obviously meant to insult or hurt someone. Such as name calling or bashing someones religion. They will closely read the post and decide if it warrants banning. Been gone for months, forgot how I missed these discussions! Seems to me if the christian god was real then the need to disguise his religion behind Pagan Rituals and beliefs to convert those who did not follow, would not have been needed. eh? If he was real why did he choose to have the "cave men" when it cleary states he created Man in his image? Hmmm food for thot? eh? Where did the dinasours inter into all things? Maybe they were left out becoz man did not know of them when "his" words were written?!? Real Religion lives in each persons heart and soul and it is something only they can know. Whatever the path, whoever the God ~ it is theirs. Truely it can not be demanded, forced, or expected from anyone person from another. Is it not our way to be independent, to walk only our life ~ then such should be Religion. I can not follow someone who's words have been written by another man, I can only follow what MY heart and soul feels. My Pagan ways have lived as long as your christian belief has claimed the Mother Earth has existed. For within Her lives the beginnings and endings of all things. Chritianity took away the rights and roles of Women and belittled them. I'm respectful of anyones religious belief as it can be only theirs. I wonder where Arthur is? Anybody seen him?

Absolute power corrupts absolutely and all that. I once had a post removed and got a scolding for saying "anyone so stupid as to think humans only use 10% of their brain is probably right, about themselves". Something I thought was pretty innocuous(sp?) and not a specific insult to anyone, unless someone really wanted to claim that belief, in which case they are...well pretty stupid. Ah well, water under the bridge.... I shall try and be careful not to specifically insult people...even though some people seem to just beg for it...lol |
