Hi JSH,

So many of you are givers, and have sponsor children, and other
charities. Let's share them with each other in the hopes that we
together may raise our awareness a find more ways to give.

I'll start. One of my favorites is "Locks of Love" and "Cancer kids"

What are yours, and how can we give?

Cardinal Glennon's Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. There are 2
children's hospitals in St. Louis. We took our then-3 year old son to
one, and they said, we don't know what's wrong, go home. We took him to
Glennon's, and they said, we don't know what is wrong, but we are going
to help you.

Ronald McDonald House & The Haven House for Battered Women

With all that is around us in Society today,, We seem to find less time
do you for others,,, Giving of ones self Unconditionally is the most
precious gift one can give in life, To make a Child smile for a moment
or wipe the tears from the cheeks of an abussed women is a Phenomenal
Experience, Time is of the essence here,,, for Society to grow we need
to slow down once in awhile and take the time to make a difference no
matter how small or how large,, this does not require money this
requires opening your Heart and Soul and realizing what it is in you
that you have to offer someone in need.

when my 2 sons joseph and george were born 3 months premature the ONLY
charity that offered help was "CHILDREN'S CHARITIES".when they went from
the royal alexander hospital in edmonton alberta to a hospital in
saskatoon, saskatchewan mcdonalds house OFFERED us 2 return plane tickets
to be with our sons.BUT that was just the nice part of flying there.when
the nurses found out that i am part native they REFUSED to let me be
near my sons.firedragon76 and i left the hospital went and got our stuff
boarded a plane and came back to alberta.so more or less those 2
charities i would donate to.

isn't that why we're all HERE Michael?? to help OTHERS??

man.. I remember the tales of years ago from my parents.. when TRADING
was more POPULAR.. people TRADED their 'strong' points.. whether it be
as a Mason, a Carpenter, whatEVER the 'trade' the person had to offer..
was Traded for OTHER peoples services.. like the Doctor got a new front
door for looking at a neighborhood child.. now THOSE were the days..
people were ALWAYS helping each other out.. happy
today?? I just don't see enough of it Michael.. sigh.. maybe things WILL
turn around.. we can only hope that OUR deeds will be noticed by the
NEXT generation and they will LEARN from our examples/mistakes.. thus
said.. setting the RIGHT ones is the way to go for STARTERS eh?? happy

there's LOTS of work to do before THIS life ends.. our LEGAacy IS our
CHILDREN!! I'd just like to leave them with a world in a lil better
shape than it is NOW
