Lost my job...or better yet my position was eliminated after almost three years of service. Are others feeling the effects of this messed up Economy? Times are real tough out there right now!!!! Looks like Ramen Noodles may be on the menu for some time...

I'm thankful, my company does whatever it can so it doesn't lay off... Managing it also helps keep my job safe but still thankful for their no layoff policy.... |

Yeah my company tried that for a bit, cut us back to 32 hour work weeks....but it just couldn't makes ends meet.

You're not alone, don't worry. I could probably administer the network of an entire town, and here I am taking landscaping offers and studying for a state exam, which won't recommend me to have a job for sure. |

Since Oct 2007 I've been laid off 3 times! So I got money from the govt. and went back to school

Feel your pain I was laid off back in March after working there for 12 years as office due to company shutting down.....But hey we do what we have to do. At least there is unemployment....

I just got back to work after being off a year. I'm grabbing side jobs like crazy, though the petsitting ones are my favorites. LOL

Since I live on a fixed income everytime prices go up I have to give up one more thing so yea the economy is tough. I feel sorry for the people who have young families. I do think it is getting tougher.

Just keep your head up and smile!! I havnt really been feelin it but I see some of my tennants are So I try to help by letting rent be late or showing them how to get rent assistance etc. Things I hope will get better for everyone soon!

I also am suffering from the ecomony first time in my life to be without a job...My knuckles are raw from beating on doors looking for work...My company also tried not laying off but yet they had to with another 25 or so to get the ax soon.
