Topic: Enough! We Need a Cheat Sheet ...

If the olden test adage, "First answer/Best answer" bodes ...

How many times should we find new ways to say the same things in threads that repeat ad infinitum?

Particularly the ones that require a bit of deep thought and length ...

How many times can we cite exactly what it is we are lookin' for in a watermelon, household pet, car, career and harem???

I vote that we begin to word pad record those lengthy answers that we'll need to repeat a minimum of 5 times per week, in respectful courtesy to the op, yes?

I believe I've waxed lyrical 3 to 4 times, just this week, on what would be my ideal mate!

What are other topics that repeat and require some time/thought to answer that you've answered ENOUGH times already(!!!) ?

Great idea.

Let's all just copy and paste generic answers into the threads for whatever questions come up.

Wait. What? People already do that here?

Oh, that's right.

All I can say is, if people always did that, then 99% of the threads here would be mindless " Would you ______ Person Above You " threads.

Oh, wait.

They already are.

Never mind.

I think that topics get repeated because new people come in that never read those topics before. They need a chance to be heard too.flowerforyou

I just skip those topics, there's only so many times I can re-read "will i ever find true love?" without throwing up.laugh

Exactly! What we need is a way to search threads so new people could find existing threads to add on to flowerforyou

Winx is right. What might be my 14,339th "Why Do Nice Guys Finish Last?" thread will inevitably also be someone else's first.

We want the site to grow, we want new people to join. One way to prevent that from happening is to become propietary insular entitlement jerks like the ones I found here when I first signed up.

Those people thought it was "their" site and they wanted it to stay exactly as it was the day they got here.

Thankfully, those people seem to all be gone now -- they left when it was no longer "their" site.

Not that there's anything wrong with making fun of "nice guy" threads. Me personally, I do it more on principle than on repetition, though....

Followed by: " Ladies, does penis size really matter?"

*lol* And here I was thinking that every soap opera has used the same 10 or so scenarios over and over and millions watch everyday...

I'm an equal op responder, esp. to the more meaty, 'significant queries' that let us all put forth our truest nature, and better understand others here.

Yes, please!!!

So the OP was whimsical, as the gist of our sincere answers, by nature, emphatically repeats and expands or edits itself!

So? What are some of these important topics to YOU, that oft' repeat?

If the site were to implement a long overdue search topic function then I may not have to post my beating a dead horse gif.lol.But seriously w/ all things considered I believe the newbies & the site veterans would greatly benefit from this feature.Though I'll still keep my gif. for laughs & giggles.;=)
