yay I'm not the only one when it comes to public speaking. I'm tons
better at it now, but I still need improvement! |

23 years of being in meetings has gotten me over my fear of speaking in
in public.  But I can remember my first time when I could just mumble my name. It is always nice to offer a hand to the new comer. It always reminds me of where I came from. My sponsor helped me to deal with things that I had trouble dealing with in public. Still fourth steps and fifth steps can be difficult. |

Isn't funny how we can be brave one moment and running for cover the
next.   I just try not to take myself too seriously when those moments happen. |

Alex, my BIGGEST challenge in the future of my career is applying my
experience in public speaking with small groups to meetings with a huge group of people I never met lol O_o |

wow I must be getting old. Nothing much makes me nervous anymore. If
I'm going out with a guy he either likes me or he doesn't. Its bad but it really doesn't matter much to me anymore. In a way its kinda liberating cause I can just be me. I even go out to eat by myself and really enjoy it. |

Getting pulled over by the cops and public speaking, especially in large
groups. |

stumble on my words it's not a pretty sight lol |

Police--very nervous around them anymore..my late husband used to be a
cop and they were ok then, but now..I can't stand to be anywhere near them. Plus...I'm terribly shy around everyone, until I get to know them..then they can't believe I was ever shy.lol I am nervous around any man anymore...It's been years since I've done the dating scene..and it's hard to think about another one. Took me 24 yrs to break in the last one....

Actually having a first date . . . but that never happens so not much
makes me nervous except being around women in general. |
