I guess it depends on how you're saying it and what you're really looking for. Your handle would indicate you're looking for something more than friends. But I agree, you should start as friends. But if you say "I just want to be friends" I would take that as "I don't see us being anything more than friends". |

But like I tell men all the time, I don't bang my friends, so I guess they figure you might have the same philosophy. Meaning no sex between you and them- ever.
