When you tell the truth you do not have to remember what you said later.

You seem to be all preaching the truth but reality is the world is full of lies from top to bottom !.

Stop watching those political shows.

No it's not ok a lie is a lie. Once you tell one you have to tell another to get out of that on. It just keeps going and going.

Definitely the truth. A lie hurts and makes the other person feel unworthy or that the person who is doing the lieing is trying to keep you from finding out something they know will hurt you. Truth always!

Ah, but the truth hurts far more severely. Especially when it is about something you are most definitely doing wrong. Face it, not many people like the truth...and everyone has told a little white lie once. Not me, not anymore anyway, I don't even care if someone hates me because of it...because I am just that damn awesome.smokin

You know what - Yes, the truth may hurt, but the truth can also set you free. Telling the truth leaves all doubts behind...It can help someone who was confused because of lies figure out what they want to do.

Like for example - after being with my ex for a year and a half and after several arguements I finally got him to admit that he never loved me - That whole time I was miserable - I was with a man that wanted more to do with his friends and personal life than my son and I, that hurts to hear the lies. Our relationship was sour and behind my back he doing local dating searches, which I caught him trying to do - he tried so hard to lie, even after what I saw. Instead of trying to make love to me - he had his face glued to his stupid porn - And some nights I could heavy breathing. That just urked me - It's like what the Hell, he doesn't love me, he doesn't want to make love to me and instead he acts like we are a burden to him- It's like, jesus - just tell me you don't love me so we can get the hell out of here and you can be single again!! TRUTH ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!

I would rather be in pain from hearing the truth than be miserable and confused from all the lies.

it's a lot easier to tell the truth than it is to remember a lie..

for those that CAN'T handle the truth...........................

tell them NOTHING!

I have a very different view to most of the general consensus here.

TELL ALL OF THE TRUTH...no omissions, no little white lies, no half truth...the complete stripped to the bone, real and raw, brutal truth...at all times.

That's how trust grows...trust that you are who you say you are....and from that respect grows.

That's how trust is in Australia? I've found here in the states it works a bit different, the honest one is cast out with stones and a crucifiction if they are lucky...well, at least that has always happened to me. And all this time people blab on about wanting someone honest, little do they know that isn't really what they want. Oh well, not like I'm trying to gather many friends.smokin

True friends will like you despite, or even because of that.flowerforyou

What I find humorously ironic is, so many people say they're adamant about speaking/hearing truth....yet, so many of these same people buy into this "political correctness" B.S., which is nothing BUT a constant lie.

And some of them don't.... laugh
