well in my life. I told a little white lie that caused an uproar

It bought clarity and love to my life but hurt another

It upset me so much I was sick. Literaly!

I can only ask for forgivness and make it a point never to do it again

I mean not even a little white one!

We've all told everything from great big whoppers to little white ones. Some of us have learned a long time ago that it's just not worth it. Besides, it's waaaaaay easier to always be honest. Takes too much brain energy to try and remember what you said last time. No energy required for the truth 'cause it never changes.

I find I believe people....not one iota of doubt....then when they show themselves for who they really are, and not who they said they are...I cannot respect them.

I have a very different view to most of the general consensus here.

TELL ALL OF THE TRUTH...no omissions, no little white lies, no half truth...the complete stripped to the bone, real and raw, brutal truth...at all times.

That's how trust grows...trust that you are who you say you are....and from that respect grows.

That's how trust is in Australia? I've found here in the states it works a bit different, the honest one is cast out with stones and a crucifiction if they are lucky...well, at least that has always happened to me. And all this time people blab on about wanting someone honest, little do they know that isn't really what they want. Oh well, not like I'm trying to gather many friends.smokin

I have a love/hate relationship with technology. I still don't get how to use the quote thingy. Educate me PLEASE Lonetar. And you needn't keep telling me just how stupid my first question was. I GET IT!!!!!!

Bigger than Life, thanks for your comment of my being deep.

I'm actually shallow. I stole that story from a "Dummy's book for Jewish humour." My rabbi's wife recommended it to my brother to buy it for my son's bart mitzvah. I found so far absolutely nothing funny in it.

It's a great book to quote passages from at dinner parties. It makes people leave the pork tenderloin on the serving plate.
