New to Utah (In from Southern California) and I found myself single in a state where I might as well have a single eye, three horns, and purple skin. (I’m beginning to think it would actually be an improvement). I can accept I’m not the best looking guy on this site but I am so discouraged by the fact that the people who contact me are OBVIOUSLY insincere and the profiles I reach out to ignore me completely. In California I had no issues and I must say I am embarrassed to be on a dating site in the first place. I am especially embarrassed to be here saying what I’m saying at this time. It seems if I am to remain in Utah I must either plan on being single or seriously lower my standards. Could someone diagnose my profile and tell me what the hell is going on? No doubt I am setting myself up with this post but I no longer care! Embarrassed? Thats your problem.... get over that and you may have better luck. |

Oh my Gosh!..I love this site! I just joined a few days ago and began posting tonight and I love reading what everybody writes. I've finally found where all the smart, open, honest,supportive,creative and funny people have been hiding...right here on this site!..Soooo, open up and enjoy, it looks like it's gonna be a great ride!

Jeez, i dont know, you look good, and have a great job, and great qualities.
I thnk its the area. I dont see anyone good from mine either, and theres less interest in me here, in florida there were alot more people who were interesting, and also interested. I know it sucks. But dont stop putting yourself out there with the profile.. cast your bait, and hook, and wait. |

ya know, i really now how you feel. I just moved from michigan to texas and almost lost my morals with a women on the greyhound bus, do not be ashamed of being on a dating site, at least this way you get to know others before hand, ( although it is hard to get responses. i have been on here for quite some time,( i think one year) and have not got a single one( except for a bot leading me toward to fling). yeah im a little discouraged but i am also hard to match up with. dont know why but i have accepted that. but i wish you well and since you claim on being the best looking male on this site, any advice for the second best looking?

Welcome aboard, and I am another who used to live in Utah, trust me, I would rather move back home to the Crinshaw District of L.A. (Yes I know I spelled it wrong) than move back to Utah. On the other note, don't worry about lowering your standards, I tried that with my ex, and well, she is my ex. Now you have to be damn near perfect to catch my eye. :P |

Got to admit that I'm not much of a Hispanic, even though that is my ethnic group by birth and appearance. What can I say; my parents and their parents were born in the US and I was raised to be "integrated". I do not provide nor do I want to receive any drama. I am very light hearted and if I am not constantly laughing or providing others with laughs I am quite bored. I plan on tending to my profile further as times goes on, but for now, just the basics! " This whole part I'd delete. Overall, it's quite good. The "framing up" thing really, for me, caused me to lose interest. Just be sure to personalize your e-mail messages and strive to perservere.
