Up in the attic where our pasts reside
that is where I go, to think, and to hide. The room a-light with sparkles of dust tinting the air with the color of rust. Old memories from deep in my past written with baubles and treasures of glass. Mem'ries floating on each tiny grain dancing about and filling my brain. Each thing I remember from my youth has a place in this room, a home, a roof. swirling about in a cascade of dreams dipping and wrapping around wooden beams.
