What are everyone's plans?
Being in Kansas, we don't really have much of a celebration like back in Los Angeles. And I know my daughter is partying hard in Hadera! Maybe this time around I will celebrate in Cincinnati with my fiance, even though he's not Jewish... |

I will probably spend Rosh Hashonah with my family in the kibbutz.
Shana Tova to all of you |

L'Shana Tovah, Edan!
I really want to spend time on a kibbutz, but my friend says they are becoming more "privatized". Well, I am saving my money so I can be in Hadera in time for my daughter's graduation from the gan! |

That's true, my kibbutz is becoming more and more privatized, members already get private salaries etc..

Every Year on Rosh Hashona my family and I gather and my Bubie Florine's house for a big family dinner. I get to see my cousins that I don't get to see very often along with some aunts and uncles.
This year as we were getting ready to depart for home, I heard a cry of pain and whirled around to see my Auntie Suzie on the ground...I didn't see what happened but one of my cousins did. In a panic I ran over to stop my dad from driving off with my stepmother and said, "Stop come quick Auntie Susie Fell." Everyone came running... I hope she's alright... |
