I think snooping is the ultimate violation of privacy. If you reach a point where you don't trust the other person, it's time to leave. Period.

Is it ok to snoop if you have suspicion of dishonesty? I hate when people got through my shlt so probably not. I'd rather ask em flat out then rummage... But if they totally bullshlt me than I'd resort to it I think

Snooping is fine so long as you dont get caught, or try to use the information you found against them. Its a double negative.
