For two months now
Your work progresses On a house for me Or we, once abandoned Breathing life again Feelings shown in tearing out Gutting the old, hauling away Unneeded debris, starting clean. The straight line of a wall A true measure of What's left unsaid An even floor for Sure footing, stumbles Far less likely Rooms come into view With your careful Attention to detail. You labor on daily The sweat of your brow As your arms flex Under the weight of Heavy boards lifted Keeping perfect balance As you work, a feat To see, not unnoticed by me. I plot the layout of Rooms, colors, painting What goes where When we're done You, far less interested In the gloss, the make-up Knowing you have provided A solid foundation. Even with your voice silent Your work shows clearly An ability to follow through With an end result that's Pleasing to us both. |

Not Said
What is not said is that which cannot be told in the seen and audible. It is translated to the heart and measures what is true. It is in the knowing where a heart builds the lifetime. Welcome Home. Raine Les 8/13/2009 A captivating inspiration.. |
