If she does not want the help...you can not help her. BUT SHE LOVES THE GUY...LOTS OF ABUSED PEOPLE SAY THIS!
GOOD LUCK flowerforyou
How can you love a person that abuses you? It is called feeling so low about yourself!!! It is not love...it is fear of not being able to succeed on your own!!!

Hello, My name is Dolores, thank you for posting this. I was a victim of abuse,I lived with a man who mistreated me and our children, I lived in fear for 24 years, until I met a Pastor who used to be a police officer, and he was God sent to me, I wasn't able to speak to anybody or answer the phone because my ex controlled everything!! I mean everything! But my Pastor saw through it all, one day things got out of hand and I was able to get help from my Pastor , we got my ex arrested and charged. My children and I are safe and someone put the fear of God on my ex, he left Texas and he is now remarried and moved out somewhere else. I thank God for his mercy and for the people HE sent to help us.
Please be careful, however, talk to someone you trust, explain the situation and give her a cell phone that her ex wont find, then wait till he does something, record it, and take picture if possible. All of these and if there are children involve you need to contact Child Protective Services, they will help her hide and leave him also protect her kids, but she must be willing to do this, many women who had been abussed for so many years are brain washed by their agressors to believe that nobody will protect them and nobody cares about them only HIM...WRONG! She needs to see that there will be a support system to help her to get a place to live and a job for her and to keep her kids safe, she will be having an attorney appointed to her to file for divorce and she will have a safe place to go to. Please tell her not to be afraid, God is with her! HELP HER AND HELP HER KIDS PLEASE!

the police cant do anything its not illegal to talking about doing something. as far as tell her its up to u.

id stay out of it personally, i tryed helping a guy friend what was being emonionally abused by the lov of his life, and another female friend abusing her boyfriend, no one espically the victium wants to hear it there always an excuse, they just suck u in, and u ll be the one arrested or hurt. it sounds bad, but u have to make the decision how far u want to go. cause theres no quick fix and chances r after she leaves him the next one will be worse than him.

she has to be the one wanting out.

and i had an x that threatned to kill me even showed me the gun and bullets. i told him to do it if he had the balls. 2 weeks later his dad helped me move out.

You can't do anything, she has to. I would provide her with information on abusers and abusive relationships if you can without putting her in danger and she will have the choice to read or disregard.

She has to make the move. You have to wait and be available if she makes the move.

He CAN do something because it was said to him by her husband. NOT considered heresay.
I was in an abusive relationship.
Wish more people would have stood up for me!
I would have......

One of my uncles killed his wife then afterward killed himself. When he was younger he killed his father because his father was an abuser then later just went crazy. I was trying to help a coworker earlier at one time because she was being abused by her husband only later to find out that she isn't all that sane either. Her sister gave up on trying to help her because even though she would tell you the abuse going on she goes back to the abuser. For some being abused seems normal. It is like some kind of twisted love. For some sadomasochism is something they are born into and they look for partners like that later in life. One of my male friends tried to help her, too. His diagnosis was similar to mind. It is like the ***** is just crazy.

You are lucky that your Aunt lived...my Aunt did not. Her ex husband shot her 4 times and he only got 4 years in a mental hospital. He gets to live his life while my Aunt will no longer get to see her family. So if you know someone that is abusive...DO something!!!
