For all of those who know her.....
Ms. Lily (Amy) had open heart surgery a week ago today and just went home from the hospital yesterday after a three week stay. She is doing very well.... but she thinks of you guys often and I got her permission to post this thread. She says hello and misses you all.

Of course, she had quadruple bypass and is magnificently recovering. I went to see her often, which was why I wasn't here much. Sorry, guys!

Any recipes you'd care to share? stay away from that people on dialysis don't urinate. a flush like that would screw your system all to hell tell her she can't eat high potassium foods like potatos if she cuts em small and soaks em in water for a couple of hours no orange juice or bananas or chocolate or sodas or tomatoes or milk or cheese or anything that tastes good actually when you get really thirsty but your retaining too much water frozen grapes help |
