Dr. Schulze's kidney bladder flush. The American Botanical Pharmacy wow hope she's feeling better prayers and well wishes Oh, and she's on dialysis too. Any recipes you'd care to share? stay away from that people on dialysis don't urinate. a flush like that would screw your system all to hell tell her she can eat high potassium foods like potatos if she cuts em small and soaks em in water for a couple of hours no orange juice or bananas or chocolate or sodas or tomatoes or milk or cheese or anything that tastes good actually when you get really thirsty but your retaining too much water frozen grapes help say what? people on dialysis dont urinate... thats bull. i have been on dialysis for 4yrs and i still have to urinate. so how can you say that. there can be some people that dont anymore. as for the tomatoes you can eat them cooked other than that no. as for milk you can only have moca mix, and you can have 7up, sprit and rootbeer but look at the contents first. as for high potassium food such as potatoes there is a limit but other than that no she cant eat them all the time.. most don't just be glad that you are not in complete kidney failure and still have kidney function. Kidney failure is just that. When the kidneys quit working there is no urine. but don't think just because you do that everyone does |

She just started dialysis.... she was edemic, went to the hospital, they learned she had heart blockage.... fixed the heart blockage...
They hope the heart repair will fix the kidney issues. |

I have a lot of respect for the perseverance in anyone who has to endure dialysis. It's not a fun thing. It disrupts your life, is majorly uncomfortable and, of course, not cheap.
You kids "fight the fight" - urinating or not urinating. |

Who said anything about renal failure????? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I hate to tell you, but people who are on dialysis are on dialysis because they are in renal failure. They don't make you go three times a week if you have proper kidney function. And I agree with CB, to pee or not to pee..... this is not my area. |

Hopefully the damage was minimal to her kidneys. She'll be on diuretics for a while I would think. This is scary because she's way too young to have to jump this hurdle but she's spunky. I sent her a message on Facebook Lilith but tell her I send my love if you talk with her, k? |

It is obvious to me that your "opinions" are not based on medical practices

This is a cut and paste:http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-dialysis.htm
Dialysis is a medical process through which a person's blood is cleansed of the toxins the kidneys normally would flush out. It is generally used when a person's kidneys no longer function properly. This can be a result of congenital kidney disease, long-term diabetes, high blood pressure or other conditions. Dialysis may be either temporary or permanent, depending on the person. If a dialysis patient is waiting on a kidney transplant, the procedure may be temporary. However, if the patient is not a good transplant candidate, or a transplant would not alleviate the condition, dialysis may be a life-long. |

There are degrees of functionality...it is called "residual renal function"......failure is the lack of any and all function...

I never said eat foods high in potassium. just the opposite. read first |

He said "can eat", and I clearly know that you shouldn't, and I got all that from what he said.
The point is, she could die if she doesn't do dialysis. Nothing OTC can substitute.... Anyway, why are you arguing about this? I just asked Robin for recipes 'cus I know he's on a renal diet. |

the Davita web site and the Fresenius web site has a lot of recipes organized by metabolyte (low phosphorus and low potassium recipes) Thank you, thank you!! I feel badly that any arguing went in here... but then again Ms. Lily loved her a good "discourse", so she'd be proud!!! What an homage.... |

Dr. Schultze's Kidney and bladder detox will improve her kidney function...Period....
To blindly say "don't do it" is hasty and ignorant. Don't believe it, don't try it...I don't care...I have personally seen it work miracles....watched people restore kidney function and get off dialysis...for ever!!!! Peace |

yes,
bottom line is I hope she will fully recover.... she would like the discourse, yes!!! |

every nephrologist I've talked to said that any kind of kidney flush while on dialysis is a good idea for a trip to the emergency room.
I'm more inclined to take their word for it |
