most don't just be glad that you are not in complete kidney failure and still have kidney function. Kidney failure is just that. When the kidneys quit working there is no urine. Who said anything about renal failure????? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I hate to tell you, but people who are on dialysis are on dialysis because they are in renal failure. They don't make you go three times a week if you have proper kidney function. And I agree with CB, to pee or not to pee..... this is not my area. the limit is 3 but there is a lady that is on my buddylist and she started doing home dialysis where you does 6days and she said that she has her freedom.. WHAT FREEDOM 6 days is alot compare to 3 days and there is a lady at the center i go to. she also does 6 days but she goes to the center.. her veins were so differnt they couldnt do a chest or a fistula in her arm. so they had to do a graf in her leg |

there is a tech that comes to my center every so often for he works at another one. he started on dialysis when he was 6yrs old and was on dialysis for 22yrs. he had 5 transplants. .cn you belive that. and he now works with the company he has alot of guts..
you know i dont recal what my nephrologist first said to me for he was going through his own midlife changes.. i found out about 2yrs ago he had a sex change...LOL!! |

For all of those who know her..... Ms. Lily (Amy) had open heart surgery a week ago today and just went home from the hospital yesterday after a three week stay. She is doing very well.... but she thinks of you guys often and I got her permission to post this thread. She says hello and misses you all.
Send her my best wishes, good to hear she is doing well.

She is doing very well.... but she thinks of you guys often and I got her permission to post this thread. She says hello and misses you all.
