Perhaps you kids are over analyizing..... I am pretty sure she is talking about guys who can't take a hint or won't take no for an answer.... I totally realize that, after the fact. That's why I made a public apology in the other thread. |

I don't think the insensitive comments here have anything to do with the posters being insensitive themselves Meh. I am just an insensitive p**ck. " Super aggressive " could have been taken in a couple of different ways. I, it would seem, took it the wrong way, but I made my apologies ion the thread she started where she was a bit more specific in what she was referring to. Apologies. I hadn't seen the other thread prior to posting my response in this one. |

Oh so here, how it works is that one posts two threads about the same topic, doing half and half in each?
I saw no concern in this thread title, other than a young woman asking why people hit on her and that they got super aggressive! I am a teacher at a boarding school, young people are learning how to deal with aggressive behaviour. As in control it. It was an ambiguous opening statement. |

Why is it that it seems like it's either one extreme or the other around here. It goes from " I don't get ANYONE hitting on me " to " Why can't they just leave me ALONE?? " Doesn't look like there is a whole lot of middle ground. Yea, most of us on here are the middle ground though, maybe thats why she comes here cause she can talk and not have to worry about all that crap. Her profile also clearly says friends only at this point. If people would take the time to read a profile before they start jumping, it may just help out. I know there are no profiles in the world outside the Internet, but there are ways to make subtle impressions that your just aren't interested, like a middle finger or a dagger from your eyes or even a stun gun, that will knock them to the floor and you could swear they just tripped. |

Why do some people think it's okay to hit on random people? I'm at school doing my work and some guys just come up to me and start laying down lines, when I am at my busiest! I could take it as a compliment but at the same time it's just very annoying. It's especially awful when they get super aggressive, I thought school was supposed to be a safe environment? i've got the ship,you've got the harbor,what do you say we tie up for the night?
