How long have you been using dating/social cyber sites? Do you think it's eclipsed conventional dating methods?

I don't know if it actually has eclipsed conventional methods...but I can certainly see how it could do so.
After all, it's easier to face a rejection if you can't see the look of disgust or utter boredom on their face while they are rejecting you...lol |

Only bout 6 months But it HAS worked for me I learned alot Being very old school. I thought it was bunk But it seems to me the way to go nowdays

Dating sites? probably a year and a half..but I get sucked into the forums and get no dates...maybe I should keep my mouth/fingers shut. Yes, Cabot...but think of all the fun we've had this past year & a half...

I started off on a site without forums just messaging people, about 5 years ago. I met someone from it and dated her for a bit, whilst i was seeing her i found another site that did have forums and began posting. That relationship came to an end, and i wasnt really interested in emailing random profiles anymore, i found it quite soul destroying. So i just posted in the forums, in the same way i do now, just to pass some free time i get at work, without any intentions of meeting anyone through it. Of course i did meet someone through it anyway!

I have dated once in 8 years. I don't think dating is even a term in todays cyber analogy

I thought this site would be completely weird but it's been fun and in terms of where I live, it certainly eclipses the other limited opportunities to meet people! |
