How long have you been using dating/social cyber sites? Do you think it's eclipsed conventional dating methods? Around three years or so. And all it's done is show me that desperation truly is a bottomless pit.

Dating sites? probably a year and a half..but I get sucked into the forums and get no dates...maybe I should keep my mouth/fingers shut. after reading some of your posts, yes you should keep your fingers shut...

Do you think it's eclipsed conventional dating methods? i joined my first dating site around may, 2006. as far as for 'older' people, i think it's a great way to meet others. it's much more difficult to meet single folk as you get older, as least it's what i've found. however, the number of young people on these sites surprises me. i'd have figured it would be so easy for them to meet prospective dating partners in other social settings (school, friends, clubs, bars, etc.).
