...to have eyes to see, while perfectly nice, wonderful people lose their eyesight at a young age?

I took my dogs for a walk later than usual tonight because we had a massive thunderstorm move through the area. It was still raining some and already dark when I left the house, so we walked into one of the side streets instead of walking one of our usual loops.

On my way back, this woman yanks open her door and hollers something against the wind...I was already way past her house, so I just kind of turned around and said "say again?"...and she yells even louder "This court is NOT a common area!!!".

So I said "That's nice...because I'm not a commoner, I live around the corner.". She goes "I SEE your DOGS sh** and pi** around here! I SEE what your DOGS do in OUR court!"

Nice choice of words for a "lady" that lives in a $350,000 house, huh? I just said "Well, this is the first time I've even walked my dogs in YOUR court. But for the record, THEY don't do anything I won't LET them do. And if I do LET them, I pick up after them"....and kept on walking.

Isn't it kind of sad that there are people that have nothing better to do on a Saturday night than to lick the windows from the inside and spy on their neighbors? And that are so bitter that they can't even have the tiniest bit of love for other people or God's creatures in their hearts?

Yes, I like dogs better than most people. But I'm going to say a prayer for that woman tonight, thanking God that she has eyes to see.

Perhaps shes lonely in that house.
or perhaps she went for a walk and ended up picking up the dog mess from a pet owner with out your 'pick-it' up morals... and you just happened to be the first person with a dog she saw.
People cross our paths for reasons.

Just another possible take on it.

Dosen't excuse her rudness towards you.

Maybe she was also tired of inconsiderate pet owners (Plural in safer areas where it is pleasant to walk) thinking that everyone elses yard is their personal litter box when there are public parks and even dog parks where exerciseing your pet is welcome.

Well, this is a very nice neighborhood and there ARE no inconsiderate pet owners here. If there are, I have yet to encounter one. We have doggie poop bag stations on nearly every corner and as far as I've seen, everbody uses them. But that's beside the point.

I can understand both side of this problem.
I do not have animals myself, because I am just not home enough for it..
If I go out to mow my yard and step in dog crap.. Yea.. it gets me a bit upset.
No animals but I step in dog dooo.frustrated frustrated frustrated

People get mad, sometimes irrationally.

I think its equally irrational to get mad back at a person who is clearly upset at a situation they themselves cannot control.

I think it quite telling the responses in this thread . . .

Your above post also irks me. You cannot know for a fact that no one else in your neighborhood leaves behind animal waste even if only sometimes.

This claim to absolute knowledge is a fallacy.

What I find interesting, is that studies have been done, and when people think they can get away with something EVERYONE cheats at least a little occasionally at somethings sometimes. If someone is watching then they are less likely to do it . . . makes me laugh to see this in action, but its soo true.

Some of the posters in this very thread if taken seriously back up that claim, and even pose a motive of retribution against the lady for her misplaced anger.

So how is it so hard to believe that is occurring in your perfect little neighborhood?

I don't know how much God has to do with hateful people..
mean people do suck though.
I don't have any dogs and I don't like it when the neighbors dogs come and poops in my yard, don't care if they pee.. and chases my cat.
But, it's just poop, not a good enough reason to be hateful.

They pick it up my neighborhood. You see people walking their dogs and carrying the bags. The parks have bag dispensers too. When I go for walks, I don't see any. I have to be careful in my own back yard though.laugh
