went to visit an old friend today, at the rock point cemetary...
yesterday they put her in the ground, no more on earth to tarry.

free now from the pains she suffered, I hope she still can see...
that I'm sorry I wasn't there for her, to ease her misery.

she shared with me...body and soul, what was hers, was mine,
I'm grateful to have known her, and I'll reach for her in time.

peace be with you dear sweet friend, and joy o're come your sorrow..
we'll walk the woods again I know...when today becomes tomorrow.

that was sad i lost a dear friend three years ago and not a day goes by that i don't think of him ....
