thought about tomorrow for a little while today...
when I think about it...it somehow slips away.

the yesterdays are always there, uncomfortable, so near...
seems they interrupt the present, till tomorrows never here.

how I'd love, to live today, and never know regrets...
from 1st thing in the morning, till the evening sun has set.

then sleep and dream, as one redeemed, no troubles and no sorrow...
refreshed, complete, rise to my feet, and find it is tomorrow.

she stood upon the castle wall, looking towards the sunset...
waiting for her lover to return, but hasn't yet.

tho tears well up, she holds them back, strong faith is deep within,
her lover will return, she knows, a new life, they'll begin.

we know that faiths' moved mountains, healed the sick, made blind men see...
and faith will bring her lover back, how I wish that it were me.

tho I love her, I'm not the lover, she waits for on the wall...

so now each day, I silently pray, for the lovers safe return...

I thought the princess of the wood, was gone, to forever wander.

she must be sad,I know she is, the way we've done her mistress...
our Mother Earth is torn and tattered, 'cause man has caused distress.

perhaps one thing that all could do, at Christmas time this year...
christians, jews, and muslims too, we all should shed a tear.

for the sadness we have caused the Earth, for hungry, everywhere...
this planet could feed us all, and more,if we take the time to care

take some time, it don't have to rhyme, a prayer to whomever you please...
pray for the planet, and all who are on it...say thanks for the air that we breath.

why the intolerance, we're pretty much the same...
eyes, ears, arms & legs...'cept those with fortune & fame.

opened a door today, long left alone...twas curiousity as much as desire...
fearful at first, I eased the door open, surprised by the warmth of a fire.

inviting, inticing and warm to the touch...
barely remebered...I'd forgotten so much.

memories can be fickle, selective at best...
remember the good parts, forget all the rest.

self preservation, or false hope, I know not...
we all have a door we've not opened or forgot.

fear shouldn't stop us, 'cause there's nothing unknown...
we're the ones thru the door, and my how we've grown.

theres always that sense of something just out of the corner of your eye...

the thought that startles you from a day dream, and you can't remember what it was...

you look at something rather bright, and when you look away, you see that thing in different shades, on top of everything else you look at...

you hear a song from long ago, that just about gives you goosebumps,
and when you close your eyes, you remember a kiss from the same time period...

you wake up in the night, with your neck and shoulders wet with a cold sweat...and you wish you weren't alone...I mean you wish you weren't alone...and sometimes you even cry.

I am wandering, seems like I've been this way before...
but when I turn to walk back out, someones closed the door.

I'm sure now, that I've been here, and a dread is in my heart...
why, I can't remember, wish this fog I'm in would part.

somewhere in the darkness of my past, I can recall...
someone once I trusted, so completely, gave my all.

off I set, a course to never, share my heart and soul...
and now discover, without a lover, my spirits not quite whole.

and not just lover, like the other, no, a lovers one complete...
when 2 are 1, can't come undone, even death cannot compete.

so thru the mists, I'll journey on, till sunrise on the morrow...
even aimless wanderings, better than, giving in to endless sorrow.

I often wonder how it would be...
falling in love while someones falling for me

knowing that someone has needs and desires,
wants me to be the one, that relights the fires.

sharing moments that turn into years...
free from the heartaches that always brought tears.

trusting completely and walk hand in hand
always in love, together we stand.

the last rays of sunlight fall upon your face...
and I reach out to hold you close, as nightime takes its place.

can I be, what you desire...am I what you seek...
will you still be here...on the morrow, a blush upon your cheek.

or will I awake, again as always...alone and without reason...
as barren as the trees, so tall, at the end of autumns season.

soon the snow will cover...all the leaves now on the ground...
and winter winds, replace the birdsong, with their mournful sound.

somewhere deep, within my heart, I'll dream that you appear..
and lie with me beside the fire...together, without fear.

loves' not always flowers and candy..
sometimes ya feel like throwing, whatevers handy,

but love is letting anger slide, at times when overcome by pride...
just share the feelings, get it out...ups and downs, and ins and outs.

when all else fails, don't forget to laugh, especially at yourself.

a wink can let a grin begin, a smile can melt your heart...
always say I love you, every day, right from the start.
